Water desalination

There are different ways to generate water desalination, the best known is reverse osmosis, a process in which salt is removed from seawater at high pressure using special pumps and membranes, recovering 70% of drinking water and 30% of water with a high concentration of salt.

This process implies a high consumption of electrical energy, which is why these plants must be complemented with generation from an NCRE plant (non-conventional renewable energy)

Remember that each m3 of water saved is paid as a water bonus annually for 21 years.
